Perfectly Paired with An Eye Exam

You can conveniently schedule your private frame styling consultation to coincide with your comprehensive eye exam. Once you complete your eye exam and have had a chance to ask your optometrist any questions, we’ll hand you off to one of our frame styling consultants. This is when the real fun begins.

Here, you will have dedicated time to browse our extensive and exclusive selection of frames. Your personal styling consultant will work with you by hand-selecting 4 to 5 frames that match your face shape, colour tones, and personal style.

Our individual, custom approach ensures we understand all of your needs and preferences before we recommend a pair of beautiful eyeglasses. At the end of the process, you’ll have something that exquisitely blends function and fashion.

The Quintessential Boutique Experience

One of our personal styling consultants will be by your side throughout the process to ensure your frames give you the look and feel you’re looking for. Our expertise in frame styling is the difference between ordinary glasses and absolutely stunning eyewear.

Here are some tips to help you understand what we look for during a frame styling. Understanding these steps will help you uncover the best eyewear styles and ensure you’re getting the most from your frame styling experience.

We will have some questions as our expert eyecare stylists begin to get a sense of what is important to you. Examples of some of the questions may relate to the type of image you want to portray, what you do for and at work, and what leisure activities you enjoy.

Honesty helps us immensely—we use your answers to find your best look.

It’s important that you take advantage of the private aspect of our consultation so that we get to know you and what might suit you and your needs best. One style may not fit all of your needs, just like one pair of shoes won’t work for all of your activities.

We will help you to determine your face shape and how your frames will compliment it.

The EyeCare Group frame stylists understand which frame shapes work best with certain face shapes. Typically opposites attract, so if your face is a little bit angular, grab a frame with softer curves.

Oval and round faces look good with eyeglass styles that have more angles and corners. Cateye eyeglass shapes draw the eye upward and create an uplift on any face; some even say they give them a mini facelift!

Colours make a difference. Understanding and connecting with colours traditionally found in your closet will help your eyewear stylist. The right frame colour can compliment your skin tone and enhance your overall appearance.

If you have warmer skin tones, try a cooler frame colour to help balance out your overall complexion. Remember, if you still can’t find a colour that you’re comfortable with, black is a classic option that can go with any look you want to pull off.

Some of the eyewear styles that we’re seeing this season are fun, big, plastic frames. Many of the traditional fashion designers have premiered these styles on the runways of Paris, New York, and Milan.

We have scoured the Earth to bring you many of these very limited, and in some cases, one-of-a-kind, frames. This season, eyeglass styles have progressed into using more muted colours like soft beige, gentle teals, and even neutral crystals.

Alternatively, if metal frames are your thing, you’re in for a treat; they are everywhere. This season it’s all about being a classic minimalist employing rose gold, classic gold, and silver.

Did we mention gold? Oh, so much gold…

See a Whole New You

Ultimately we will help you find what feels good, looks good, and makes you feel good about yourself.

What image do you want to portray? Casual, corporate, trendy, fun, subtle, or maybe all of the above? The EyeCare Group has Edmonton’s best selection of frame styles to suit all of your looks!
